Trying out Google Tasks

I used Google Tasks quite some time ago when it was still the older version. It wasn’t really good to use, so I just left it.

I have been writing my to do list on a piece of paper, my paper journal or sometimes in Evernote, but these don’t really serve me well. I re-visited Google Tasks, and found that it has been redesigned and it looks better now. Though it’s still very simple with minimal features, it allows to create sub-task and allows to set date and time which is enough for me. Moreover, I can drag and drop the task and move to other task list. This is the flexibility I like which paper journal can’t provide me.

Since I am using many Google apps, using Google Tasks doesn’t require me to create a new account. Moreover, I can add my email to task and add my task to Google Calendar easily, which help me to declutter my inbox easier too.

Hopefully with all these findings lately, I am able to organize my digital files and my life better.

  1. I don’t really use any of these apps. I have tried them in the past, but generally I use pen and paper to keep notes on things. I do have an Alexa Echo Dot though if I want to be reminded of something.
