Tomb Sweeping Festival or known as Qing Ming or Ching Ming festival in Chinese, is a traditional Chinese Festival of Han Chinese.
We go to the cementery and serve some foods, flowers, incense at the tomb of the ancestors, and clean or sweep the tomb. We go once a year. It’s on 5th April 2019 this year, but we can go during the 10 days before or after such date.

No such festival in your race or community?
We also have festivals, but this festival was not known in China which you can tell
I voted no, but I forgot we have All Saints Day (November, 1st).
Well, the actual Day of the Dead is on the 2nd, but it isn’t recognized as an official holiday, people may work on that day, therefore most families visit their ancestors on the 1st.
We don’t serve food or incense, but flowers only, and cleaning is due as well.
I like how different cultures share several things in common. ?
I wish we had a more serious ancestral cult here in Europe.
thanks for sharing for your culture.
We go to the cemetery during the All Souls Day every November 2.
after the All Saints day, Nov, 1st?
Good to have such festivities for those interested.
For us to thanksgiving the effort by the ancestors too.
I prefer to visit such a place privately.
Some are not suitable to go other than the festival season because the grave yard is full with wild grasses.
