Epiphany is the day when the three wise men (kings) arrive where Jesus is born. They come with gifts. It is the last day following which we normally remove all Christmas decorations.
Our Chinese Hats bush is packed with coloured lights and tinsels. We will remove all that tomorrow. We also have a star put up right up touchig the sky and that also will be removed.
I would call it the most boring part of the season. As one needs to bring down the decorations carefully and put them back for use next year.

Have you brought down your Christmas decorations?

We have the tradition of removing the Christmas decoration on the day of 3 kings’ visit! Decorations will be removed today in the evening at my home.
we do it on the 7th and that is tomorrow.
My Christmas ornaments are still standing and will continue until the end of the week, dear Grace … even today we celebrate the empty Three Holy Kings
No harm in keeping them. Here it is a tradition
It looks like the epiphany is not celebrated here anymore unlike when I was young when people give gifts to the children.
That practice I do not see here either.
I never put up any decorations this year. We always referred to January 6 as Star Day and then we took down all the Christmas decorations.
Never heard of that expression. May be because the Magi followed that star to get to the crib
We already brought down our Christmas Decorations right after the New Year.
We keep it until the 3 kings’ visit!
Yes, they came down today, as tradition demands!
We keep it till the 6th and bring it down the next day
I have been thinking of removing the Christmas decoration, but it can stay for at least one more week. It still makes me happy.
To each their own But here most remove them on Jan 7
I see, so it is a tradition to remove it on this day?
