Time With Family Poll

I just had a visit from actual kin-folk of mine! They came down from Amarillo to Lubbock for a visit and they took me to lunch at a Furr’s Cafeteria. (If you are in or ever come to the US, check out a Furr’s – very comfort-foody.

Anyhoo, in the picture we have, from left to right, the left half of my niece Amanda, the top half of her daughter Hailey, the top half of my sister Linda and the right-half of Linda’s son Cody.

It has been years since I’ve seen any relatives and I wish the visit could’ve been longer. But, they had to get back to their lives and I was glad to see them again.

After the meal, they visited the mall and shopped as I followed behind my sister, tugging little bits of her hair and saying, “Stop it Hailey! You’re gonna get me hit,” and walking on the backs of the shoes of my niece.

Gotta keep ’em thinking I’m just happy.

  • How often do you visit family?

    • Never
    • Once or twice a year
    • Once a month
    • Every week
    • Every day. Someone please get me out of here.

  1. The possible answers to how often you visit family did not have an answer that fit me. I see them sometimes but not very often as it is far to travel. However, I do email, text, and message with them, sometimes 4 or 5 times a day.

  2. So glad to hear of your family visit. Sadly most all of mine have passed. I have a few cousins and uncles I stay in touch with over the phone. That is about it.
