Thursday's Reflections – Rotorua

This was taken when we stayed at Ngongotaha, and this is taken from the Jetty.

I love walking along the beach and the lake or river to view reflections…

Well life has been extremely busy and work never ceases so it seems…So I can only spend so much time doing things on the computer…

        • Its been a year since his shoulder replacement and there are other complications, he can barely walk. He cant pour himself his own coffee he cant drive, cant cook or do gardening, he can only draw now and so it is hard going. However, he had NZ’s best surgeon and he is not in pain anymore. It would have been worse without the operation

          • What a coincidence. Even my late husband had surgery on his shoulder. It took a long time for him to recover. I understand how difficult this situation is for you and your husband. Your husband has really serious consequences from surgery.

          • Yes, he has had some serious complications and there’s more complications too as he was born partly paralysed on one side as well. They put him in a rest home after the operation and then the nurses drugged him, it took me 3 months to get him back to his normal self..

    • I have had to juggle a lot of chores, and some physical, just had an exhausting few days of tearing weeds out of the garden and then cleaned up a porch.
Then I have been going to the gym..Re arranged the porch..

Caregiving is on going and hard going..No even if I wanted to, there is practically no time for me, so I crashed…
