This is a street in the La Siesta district – Torrevieja Spain. Here always after this heavy rain. Drainage drainage is very poorly designed. Even bus buses stop jamming.
The photo is taken with the phone. Perhaps the quality is not very good.

We have here heavy rain few days and many area were flooded
I have the feeling that sometimes nature is punishing us this way.
we almost never get that much rain where I live
You then live in a wonderful place. I’m happy for you.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone call east LA wonderful before. But I suppose you could be right…
Beautiful as a photo but not fun to enjoy. Yes, in some areas of my city the same thing always happens.
As you say beautiful as a picture, but not for fun. I agree with that. Thanks.
A wonderful shot. Fortunately, I live in an area where we do not have these problems
It’s a good luck to live in such a place.
Very nice photo by the way!…
I’m glad you liked the photo
In some places you get a few puddles. It depends on where you are.
I thought its a photo of a lovely lake or sort…
We have one such flood that the way went up to the knee (of an adult)…
later we tried to improve the drainage system …
but it haven’t rain as hard, so we don’t really know how well it is …
This type of flooding happens all over it seems. And this is a great photo.
I always doubt the quality of the photos taken with the phone. Thanks.
Nice image Lacho. We seem to be having an unusually long dry season. Send some of these rains to Chennai please.
If I had this opportunity I would.
That is so sweet of you. For this good thought, I hope there is a break in the dry spell soon.
It used to happen where I used to live, because of poor drainage.
Most of the time, leaves would obstruct the manholes and cause minor floods.
In 1994, there was a major flood that reached two meters of height, but that was due to the river. Now the river has taller banks, so it’s safe.
Very nice photo anyway! ? It doesn’t solve the inconvenience, but it was a nice sight.
The problem is that the pipes of the drainage system itself are small interspersed. Thank you for your exhaustive comment.
I’m lucky to live a little higher and all the water drains … there is a lot of floods in Slovenia
You’re lucky LADO that you live a little higher.
That water is bad – your picture on the other hand is awesome.
I agree. When this happens and I’m at work because I work in this neighborhood I feel like a cell lock.
Very god job .Thanks.
Thank you for your wonderful comment
Love that picture. Thanks for sharing.
