Thursday's Reflections – After Rain

This is a street in the La Siesta district – Torrevieja Spain. Here always after this heavy rain. Drainage drainage is very poorly designed. Even bus buses stop jamming.

The photo is taken with the phone. Perhaps the quality is not very good.

  1. I thought its a photo of a lovely lake or sort…
We have one such flood that the way went up to the knee (of an adult)…
later we tried to improve the drainage system …
but it haven’t rain as hard, so we don’t really know how well it is …

  2. It used to happen where I used to live, because of poor drainage.
Most of the time, leaves would obstruct the manholes and cause minor floods.
In 1994, there was a major flood that reached two meters of height, but that was due to the river. Now the river has taller banks, so it’s safe.
Very nice photo anyway! 🙂 It doesn’t solve the inconvenience, but it was a nice sight.
