Of course I have to share a Dustin memory. Thankfully I have many of his 16 years to share.
The one I chose for today is a photo of Dustin fishing. He was just old enough to hold his own fishing pole. And later he caught a big fish. He was fishing with his uncle (my brother) and had a great day.
I hold onto these memories every single day. And when Kim said throwback Thursday, this is the moment my mind went to. So here you go Kim.

wow what a great picture. Fishing is such a huge part of my childhood.
It really takes me back ever single time I look at it. He felt like a big boy with his own fishing pole here.
i remember being maybe 7 years old when my grandfather said you wanna go fishing with me?> before that, I was always on the dock fishing, but grandpa went out in the early morning.
we went out, he had a thermos with hot cocoa for me, and one with coffee for him.
It is a memory that is forever in my heart!
I know Dustin always remembered these trips too.
