Thousands of years old pearl discovered.

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced that the world’s oldest pearl has been discovered in the island of Maroh, located off the coast of Abu Dhabi. The pearl is 8,000 years old and dates from 5600 – 5800 BC to the modern cells. It’s called the “pearl of Abu Dhabi”. According to Emirates Alyum, the head of culture and tourism, Mohammed Khalifa Al-Mubarak, said the discovery of pearls of about 5,000 years old is proof that the profession of looking for pearls in the United Arab Emirates is old. According to Muhammad Khalifa al-Mubarak, this pearl is invaluable. This will be presented for the first time at the exhibition held in Abu Dhabi from October 30, 2019 to February 18, 2020, organized by the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
