I found this kitten abandoned in our yard. He was so small. He doesn’t know to eat. I don’t know how people can be so mean. I kept it in my home for 2 weeks and now he doesn’t know how to eat. It’s the first time I am fostering kittens. I didn’t know what to do. I read online how to feed and stimulate him, like I was his mother. He is the sweetest cat ever. We have a cat outside with kittens and sometimes I think that cat abandoned him. She has another 3 kittens and one of them has the same color. They seem brothers, but I can’t imagine why a cat would abandon one kitten. Now I keep him in my room and I feed him every 2 or 3 hours. He is so playful.

That is a beautiful kitten and the strange part is that I also found a kitten. The one I found was in a parking lot.

What a cute little face. The only reason I can think why his mother left him is maybe she knew she did not have enough milk for him or her and his siblings. But keep up the good work. He seems still very healthy and strong especially if as you say he is playful. Maybe one of his problem with eating is that he needs to be dewormed. I do not know if you can do this yourself but just check it out on the web or at a vet office. I have never personally fostered kittens except for the one that were born from one of my female cats but their mother took care of them. So I really do not have any other advice for you. Good luck and keep us appraised about the situation. Did you give him or her a name yet?
