Now days we can see a number of boys and girls colleges in the country. Many private colleges accepted the western idea of co-education. But the educational institute run by government in Pakistan are still providing separate education to male and females.
This historic building is the first college established in Peshawar back in 1949 for women. It is located between historic Mohabbat Khan Mosque and Qilla Balla Hisar. It is one of the most famous educational institute of the country. It has educational, administration and residential blocks. More than 4000 women are enrolled in this college and number of women graduated from this institute are now doing remarkable work in different fields of life.
