Well, I’ll say, this is me reporting things/features I’ve noticed were different. And I would have to make it clear, it’ll not be all positive or covers all the changes … but I’m pretty happy that there are many positive changes!
1) Loading time is MUCH and I mean MUCH faster!! Basically, the site is much faster!!
2) I love how the voting button works now, both the “+1” animation and the design!
3) I used to have problems staying logged in whenever I go back to homepage or click on the “latest” tab, but now I can go to the “latest” without being logged out.
4) Problem is I’m still logged out when I go to the homepage, from whatever page I’m on.
5) Problem with images not loading/showing when posting, hence you can’t save or submit without getting an error. (Refreshing the page helps though)
6) As Alex mentioned, new layout in the member’s posts/profile page!

I was searching for a photo to use, this stands out in the gallery of photos.
I am very happy with the updates, although I also have problems uploading images.
Hmm… I’m quite positive the problem will be solve, just how long
I am very happy with all the improvements on this site even though there is a problem with the cover image, and that is why I have never felt the need to fret about various conditions here because I believe that those are part of the process.
I just felt its better if they’re communicated.
Some things could be avoided with communications.
But it could be just me.
Basically, we expect the same thing, it’s just that they may have certain trauma that we don’t know, which has made them withdraw.
Albert, when things happen too often and without attempts to try, makes it seems like an excuse … generally not just on this, anyway…
Doc had mentioned that the admins are making the effort to communicate more now … I’m really glad about it and I hope they will continue.
I don’t argue with your opinion, but I also love my principle “Stay happy without conditions”.

Somethings aren’t the same for everyone and these can’t hardly be change with arguments. I respect your principle, anything that makes you happy! 🙂

I noticed the good things and I am very glad that it is happening. I will try to devote some time to the site. I am still waiting for the update of my earning to see if this would be a good program. But as to the community, I can say that this is a nice place. Though I need to consider other things too.
I do understand that there are always other things to consider!
All of us are here for different reasons.
I’m guessing they’ll update the dashboard soon … usually end of the month.

gallery view of your posts is really nice. The jscript issue is annoying (it manifests itself as the lost picture in main posts, or as the unable to load pictures at all in gallery mode).

I am pretty sure they will continue to improve. They have actually been communicating on the facebook group and they are also back to commenting on actual posts again!

I think the important thing to remember is that Virily has paid for 2 plus years now. That is more than many writing sites have even been around!
Doc, this questions have been asked many times …
The answer is almost 50-50.
Doc, I’m sure you have noticed the people who left due to the errors and down times.
Anyway, from my point of view, “a site that has been paying for 2 years” is not something that pulls me in … I’ve joined forums that discuss about making money sites, and one of their famous saying is “the longer a site stays online, the higher the chance of scam/shut down.”
Bottom line is, Doc, a pulling factor to you may not be for me, but I know where you’re coming from, and perhaps we’ve similar goal, just from different perspective. 🙂
I’m glad for but I would love a “conducive” environment with handy-tools that doesn’t frustrates me, as a user too. 🙂

Yes I have noticed all of these and a few more. I hope the last one is corrected soon. What about our comments on the home page, they are gone.
Oh, I forgot to include that … the latest comments on the homepage … I thought it was a nice touch but perhaps they have other plans for that space?

I stayed pleasantly surprised on Sunday by the changes in the positive direction. That’s why you have to be patient. The changes are slow, they are super.
