Before the coming of the refrigerator and that’s long before the arrival of the electric water dispenser, what we use here is the tapayan. It is a clay pot with a lid and a small faucet for the dispensing of water. Usually the water comes from the artesian well or if there is a mountain spring nearby when in the rural area. The water is surprisingly cool to drink even at high noon when the weather is warm. Old folks say that the clay pot is a natural water cooler.

Quite common here in the rural areas, the water is cool and quenches thirst easily on a hot day.
We don’t really have them in the US. There were other forms of water storage used!
I only seem them in the countryside in your country.
We do not have what you have displayed but water is kept in earthen ware jars that keeps the water cool.
