The termite kingdom that scares people

In our folklore, the small mound in the picture is called Punso which has a little old man residing inside. When you do some damage to the mound then you are liable to the little old man that he can cast a magic spell on you. But if you are kind then you can become friends with the little man and he can give you riches.

In reality, the mound is a big termite hive. It is estimated that there’s about 3 to 4 queen termite inside that can produce thousands of baby termites. Think of how many houses those thousands of termites can eat. Call the pest control, they will eradicate the mound to decimate the termites. Just be careful not to harm the little old man.
