Really, I’m a fan of nuts and beans, whether for snacks or meals. I observe for long enough, whether the beans in your photos, from your garden, are the same as those in my place …or, similar but not the same.
I suppose that the family is the same, while kinds differ because of weather, soil….etc. Anyway, I believe that beans in your country is also tasty. π

Hah, hah. They take about an hour and a half in the Instant Pot. but I can be somewhere else while they are cooking themselves.
There is a joke about it, here. A woman, going out, tells to her husband:”I am going out for a five minutes. There’s bean cooking on the stove, so make sure to add a cup of water on every half hour.” π

Cats help everywhere. π I can’t do anything without their interference. π
Beans are good cooked in so many different ways. Slow cookers especially, let them cook for several hours with bacon or sausage.
That’s the best way, because beans have to be well cooked, unless you want to have stomach issues. π It’s good to spill the first water in which beans were boiled and add some mint leaves or cummin, for better digestion. π

Beans are good for snacks.
In Serbia, it’s very popular main course. π In fact, this is also one of ”must have” meals for the Night before Christmas diner. π
Ahhh yeah, here we don’t have that much, but we have that as snacks. Why is it a must have meal on Christmas eve? Any particular reason?
It’s a tradition that origins from times when there was no such abundance in food, during winter. π
Ahh no wonder, and the beans can be stored without any problem for a long time. hmm.. that makes sense.
