The number of birds in North America has decreased by three billion.

In the US and Canada, the number of birds has dropped by an astounding 29% since 1970. From the 70 still now, the decline of three billion birds has been recorded since the erosion of birds. The AFP, a French news agency quoting a study by scientists, says the decline in bird growth is a clear sign of climate change.

The birds that eat the grass and the insects have declined the most. Research has revealed that the main reason for this is the decline in grasslands or vegetation. In contrast, there is an increase in agricultural lands where insects are rapidly eroding due to the use of pesticides.

Forestry is also declining rapidly, with birds and their breeds lacking habitat for nests.
