The Ljubljana Castle, which has been standing on the hill above the town for about 900 years, is the main attraction of Ljubljana. The Castle Tower and the walls provide the most beautiful views of the city. In the castle premises you can see the museum exhibition Slovene History, the Puppet Museum, as well as several historical spaces and exhibitions, among them the Chapel of Sv. St. George, the Penitentiary and the Virtual Castle. This year they made a special effort and also decorated the castle and castle hill and illuminated it beautifully. Apparently the colors also change from red, blue, green, but I didn’t expect it. I painted it when it was highlighted in blue.
