I am glad I still have some mums now. All my mums are done blooming and are drying out. I have hard pruned them hoping to get one more set of blooms, but I doubt it. This small plant in a cooler part of my garden is still looking good.
It always makes me smile when I see mums and sunflowers. These deep orange and rust mums with their cushiony velvet centers look so pretty. The flowering season usually extends upto November, the month of the dead. However, this year they are already done blooming and gone into dormancy.

Hmm.. I had some burgundy a log time ago.. with pretty yellow centers.
