When you sit back and think about how life was when we all we kids. There was always a struggle in one way or another. Most of the time children did not know about that struggle. What they knew as life was just that life. What kids did not have they did not miss. Now you can’t find even most small kids without a device of some kind in their hands. I love the good old days when we played school and double dutch on the curb.
We had chores and outside play. Now you can’t blink without being mindful of your surroundings.

We played outdoors all day long until dark. Now you can’t send a kid out for that long or they will be kidnapped! TV was a treat–now it is passed over for computer games. Yes, those were the good old days!
There is a park right next door the projects where I was living. The parents leave the kids in the park alone. There are shootings there all the time. It’s sad.
Indeed I did and I wish I had known then, that those were the good ole days.
I figured that out after I had my daughter life changed for children. Adults too as well.
I think so too, children lost behind gadget lose the fun of Childhood.
Oh how right you are.
