With the coming of autumn, chrysanthemums begin to make their presence felt and attract you with their delicate fragrance and a multitude of colors. They come from China and Japan, but in Europe they took many shapes and colors that made them the most sought after autumn plants. Chrysanthemums can be likened to daisies. We find them in different shapes and sizes, but also in a variety of colors. Along with the traditional yellow hue of chrysanthemums, we also find the colors purple, white or red.
“I look for myself but find no one. I belong to the chrysanthemum hour of bright flowers placed in tall vases. I should make an ornament of my soul.”
Fernando Pessoa

Interesting post along with with very nice images. It looks like the bee is having a happy feast all by itself. I wonder if bees ever get pollen drunk? Lol
I knew they were associated with autumn but I had never heard it put that way.
There is a conservatory a short bus ride from my home that has a chrysanthemum show every year. I’ve never gone. Maybe I will this year.
Their brightness is very pleasant, even through your photos.
I’m a good photographer, remember ?! ?That is why the flowers look almost like in their natural environment!
Of course I always remember, Ileana. Especially when the bee helps you.
Such beautiful flowers, they always make me happy!
Chrysanthemums are some of the most “joyful” flowers!
around this time of year, they truly pop up all over our neighborhood!
I think they appear all over the world at this time. These flowers are widespread throughout the world!
they really are very wide spread!!!!! great picture by the way!
My chrysanthemums are all done blooming.
I’m sure they are very beautiful and they cheer you on when you look at them!
many memories associated with autumn
My memories are more associated with things, flowers, happenings…
I love mums. Many decorate with them this time of year. All colors together make a beautiful wreath on the door.
These flowers always remind me of my mother.
