Traveling along the highway in Colorado Springs, Colorado you might be surprised by a giant beetle, It is thought to be the world’s largest beetle. It is behind a barbed-wire topped fence with signs of warning about video surveillance.
This is because the beetle was once the victim of vandalism. It was created in the mid-1950s and is a gigantic West Indian Hercules Beetle. It had been moved once to Weeki Wachee Springs, Florida but is now back at its original location.
