In the olden days the sound system was a phonograph which means it is not a stereo. And then the stereo came forth followed by the quadrophonic which is a sound system with 4 speakers. With the digital technology what we have is a wide variety of sound system that includes earphones, headsets and any other types for listening music.

We have graduated from the deck to now double speakers.
My grandparents had one like this, very classic.
I still have a record player! There is magic in the sound that comes from an LP.
