The moringa plant (also called tree) is famous for its leaves. The small green leaves are packed with vitamins that proponents of the moringa claims to be healthy. In our place, some bakeshops sell bread with moringa leaves. It may sound crazy to some but the owner of the bakeshop doesn’t care as long as he thinks that he makes people healthy.
Aside from the leaves, the most forgotten part of the moringa is the fruit. It is like a stick with thin flesh and crunch seeds. When cooked, it is good to be mixed with other vegetables. The moringa fruit was very popular when I was young but its popularity lost to the leaves with the hype of the health buffs. But once you get a taste of the moringa fruit as a vegetable, you will desire for it.
