Children are particularly difficult to wait for the month of December as they are visited by three good men, and these are St. Nicholas, Santa and Grandpa Frost. Today, the children visit the first of three good men, and this is Saint Nicholas. Our home was also visited by St. Nicholas, accompanied by angels and devils. The children were very pleased with the visit, especially the gifts they received. I like this tradition very much. It’s an old winter tradition. Saint Nicholas and his companion represent good spirits, who are chasing evil winter spirits with their screams.

I love festive traditions …
A nice post and picture! I love this tradition, it is especially important for religious people.
It’s a really nice tradition … my favorite
Very interesting tradition, we have Ded Moroz who is similar to St. Nicholas, Santa and Grandpa Frost. Maybe, he’s their relative, who knows?
Everything is possible … I do not believe we ever know the truth ?
I think its a very good tradition. Encourages good behaviour and gives people hope.
I agree … I love this tradition very much
I didn’t know that Grandpa Frost is a true character I thought it is like Grinch, good version, you know animated or cartoon created character
In our country, what’s really true is … I think it’s really “fairytale”
Very interesting tradition! Here in Bulgaria, St. Nicholas is a patron of the fishermen and travelers, people eat fish, and also those who are named after this saint celebrate their Name Day.
Your tradition is also very interesting … I am glad that I have learned something new about your country
Thank you very much vidocka.
Thank you for viewing and commenting
It’s a very nice custom … it brought something to you too my dear Vidocka
I did not deserve a gift because I was not good at it
Christmas should be for the children in my opinion.
I agree … children are most pleased to receive gifts
Great tradition, it’s always good to read about how others enjoy this season. Great photo of old Saint Nicholas.
Thank you Kim … I am very happy to learn something new about other countries
I love that tradition but by accident, I clicked the no vote button SORRY!
Apology accepted … everyone can make a mistake ?
