For this Sky Sunday challenge I decide to show case the Egyptian God Amon against a perfectly blue sky with white woolly clouds. I took this picture during one of our recent trips out of the city.
The statue looks majestic against the blue skies. In the distance there where a lot of hills and rocks which made it look even more majestic in its appearance.
It was a lovey day, long before the weather turned so warm. The drive was indeed a very pleasant one with all these stops between for taking pictures . One of the advantages of setting out early is that you beat the heat, the city traffic and you get to stop and take a few pictures too.
I love peaceful drives. It is a rare occurrence when you can drive peacefully in the city.

there is something wonderful about driving and not having to fight traffic!
Oh you bet! I don’t mind losing sleep to get some peace on the road.
that is why I am up early in the am to work on Virily. no traffic at 6 am!
LOL On Virily we need traffic. 😀
i have been thinking about that “needing traffic” in the end I worry that the traffic we’ve had isn’t the optimal traffic for the site going forward.
I was at work, but the day was good.
