The big Duhat tree

Duhat is a small fruit that is native to our country. Usually the trees are found in the mountain area. In the olden days, mountain residents would pick the fruits and bring them to the market. That is one of their incomes for livelihood. But those mountain areas have become residential villages now.

In the picture is the big Duhat tree in our village. The fruits just fall to litter the ground. The owner doesn’t care to pick the ripe fruits maybe because they don’t eat that. It is a pity that the fruit is now an endangered species.

  • Do you buy fruits in the market?

    • Yes
    • No
    • the market is far so we seldom buy
