The Babirusa Is Some Piggy

The babirusas are pig-like animals that have brown/grey fur sparsely covering their skin. They have great senses of smell and hearing. The babirusa can run fast and swim well. What is unusual about them is that they have two pairs of tusks that curve backward toward their faces. They are native to the Indonesian islands of Sulawesi, Togian, Burn, and Sulu. They make their home in moist, tropical forests, and on the shores of lakes and rivers The male babirusas are loners while the females with their young travel in groups up to eight individuals.

Babirusas feed mostly on fruit but will also eat grass, leaves, carrion and small animals.
