Cormorants are aquatic birds, usually found near rivers and lakes. This guy here was drying himself after working for his lunch. They look like snakes floating in the water with just their heads above the water.
They hold some silly poses at times. I had a picture of one that looked like he was saluting. Their bills are bent and hooked. It isn’t a great looking bird though.
