That Time of the Year Again

Cold weather is here to stay, or so I think. It could fool me, it usually does. However my cat, the Dude does not care for the cold. He will get under the covers when possible. He found a blanket in the bean bag chair and managed to get under the blanket. I never put him under a blanket, he does it himself. That is the thing with cats. They do things when it is their idea. And his idea is to snuggle and stay warm. He was completely under the blanket until he heard me with the camera. He stretched and his tail and head popped out from the blanket.The photo was too cute not to share.

  3. Raven, Dylan and Serenity sleep by the fire when it is cold. Tamsyn (my daughters dog) hides down in the basement.

    For the most part they do not sleep under covers though.

    And when the summer comes, it wins the cold or lays on cold tiles.
    Animals know that they care about themselves.

  12. Well Dude stay under the blankets while I will gladly go outside in the cold. Runt, my cat, would probably love to join you but he has his own blankets and comforter and quilt and bed sheets that he crawls under. I do not know how cats can breathe under blankets. I just suffocate when I find I moved in bed and the blanket covers my face or even my nose or just my mouth. Ouff! Let me out!!!
