Tarzan in the jungle

I have read a short article about the comics character Tarzan who grew up in the jungle of Africa and was taken care of the apes. He was the guy in a g-string who travels from tree to tree with the use of the vine. Tarzan appeared in the comic strip of a newspaper and instantly caught the imagination of the readers.

Tarzan’s character was made into a movie starring a Mr. Universe named Johnny Weismuller. I cannot forget the yell of Tarzan as his trademark. It was a jungle call that filled the theaters in the olden days. But what’s interesting to me is about the author Edgar Rice Burroughs. He had not been to Africa but his descriptions of the milieu in his story are almost realistic.
