There are also red coloured potatoes but I prefer the sepia – they are sweeter and softer. Sweet potatoes are a versatile vegetable in that one can make so many dishes out of them.
I sometimes just boil them and have them for breakfast. They are a source of iron, calcium, selenium, B vitamins and vitamin C. They are cheap and are available throughout the year. They are rich in fibre.

When I cook with this type of dish, it tastes different. I prefer the standard potato.
