It always fun and good exercise to rent a pedal boat and go for an hour around the lake at sunset. We used to enjoy this for years but now the boats are all gone into disrepair and as you can see there is water inside them. The authorities stopped the boating trips after a couple of young people committed suicide in the lakes around here.
It is sad to see people end their lives like this. It is better that the authorities have closed these facilities now. We just watch the sunset and enjoy the scenery around the lake now. It is always a joy to watch the sun make his creative designs the water here, giving us more opportunities for nicer pictures.
Just watching the water shimmering in the golden glow of the sun makes me dreamy and happy.

i am sorry to hear about the young people taking their lives. Very tragic.
The picture you’ve taken is perfect. The boats, decaying, the lake is the lake and then the sun in the distance.

My boat rides have always been during day time and so no hopes of watching a sunset while riding in a boat
Its usually pretty hot here during the day so we prefer a boat trip in the evenings.
Such a magical view! The reflections in the water definitely make any sunset even more amazing.

Carol these are just artificial lakes . I live miles and miles away from any river or sea.
