You’re absolutely correct about planting trees. The more the better. We have a very small yard but we have a couple of trees in it. One note, unless you want your basement to turn into a cesspool, don’t plant them where the roots can reach the pipes that drain your toilet. I speak from personal experience.
I agree that the site should be chosen correctly where to plant a tree.
Also the type of tree. If possible stay with plants that are found naturally in your area.
