We have jack fruits growing in our garden and enjoy them in several ways. Stuffed jack fruit is one such delight.
Fully rip jack fruits are ground with jaggery. Boiled rice soaked the previous night is added and then ground to a fine paste.
A mixture of scraped coconut and jaggery is kept ready. The batter is spread on leaves and the coconut mixture is placed on the spread batter. The leaf is then closed shut.
This is then steamed. A delicious jack fruit stuffed delight is ready.
