Third month of storms… I want them gone! They are impressive and amazing to look at, but I think we are ready for summer now. I was heading towards McDonald’s when I saw the sky getting dark and I took some pictures with my phone. This is one of them, I was on a bridge. Took it 4 hours ago, since then we got a few drops and some wind, nothing more. But the sky is still dark.

It’s not good to be outside when storms come, but clouds like that always impress me ?.
I miss the storms now, it’s very hot and sultry here right now. I hope it won’t last long, despite it is how summer is supposed to be. ?
You miss the storms, I miss the sun. Today was another rainy day. Actually, I am watching some news now and they show many floods in our country.
It should be, but there are storms everywhere! I had to drive for 100 miles this morning and I could barely see the road because of the rain…
I know we need the rain but do we need the storms? Storms are scary! I’ve been listening to our weather reports and I’m tempted to describe the storm system as “Biblical”. LOL.

I know what you mean. My brother has some land and he needs rain, but lately there was too much of it and he also experienced bad hailstorms and flash floods. Everything got destroyed.

I saw amazing clouds before, storms are always awesome. But also bad, too much destruction sometimes ?.
If I’m asked to go out and exercise then I want some rain (so I can don’t go :p)
If not I would want it slightly cloudy with sunshine … (at least not so hot)

The storm looks like ones se get here but we only get sheet lighting not forked lightning, interesting post

Me too ?. I saw worse weather before, even an oak struck by lightning while I was driving (300 feet from the road, it exploded!). Nature is powerful ?.

I don’t smoke, but I know what you mean ?. We had a summer house near a mountain and we used to eat on the porch if it was raining.

After 2 months of hot weather, we are now entering the rainy season in our place.
We have four seasons here, but soon we’ll only have two, similar to what you have?.

The US has been hit really hard this spring by a number of band storms. It is really sad overall.
I saw that on the news. Here we don’t have storms that strong, but lately they have increased in number and we also got tornadoes, something unheard of until several years ago.
I hope for you as well. Storms are beautiful to see in the distance, scary at times to be in the middle of!
I used to go out when there were storms outside. Crazy, I know ?. But I won’t do that anymore.
my best friend and i used to run. rain or shine. A few times we ended up in a nasty storm and had to find shelter!
It happened to me too, many times actually. But I also used to stay outside and watch the clouds and the lightning running. Scary, but awesome ?.
