The Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park is an amazing place to visit and go for a day hike. There are parallel box canyons. The colors are amazing and there are both drives and hikes. To go into the area you must stop at the Visitors Center and register. It can be dangerous, 2000 ft cliffs can be deadly. This is one of our family favorited when we choose to take a drive down south.
They are located about 40 miles for Zions Park and about 15 miles from Cedar City.

We really enjoy it. We go at least once a year.
The photo is amazing. Looks like a lovely place to relax in nature.
