Nowadays most fans and athletes believe that sport has become just one type of industry in which big money is used. Rarely an athlete plays for a club rather than just for money. Fans turn back to clubs that do not bring expensive players, ie they do not spend large amounts of money.

  1. The difference in sports today compared to when I was a youngster is that sports today is an entertainment show that looks like a beauty pageant.
    When I was younger, it did not have the feel of going to see a concert of your favorite artist. It had a quieter aura of simple things. Sports stars today are presented as either super heroes or Gods.
