Small and Simple Things

Pansies come in all different colors and varieties. Spreading a little color here on this Friday with my yellow pansy. I managed to catch a few raindrops on this one.

I talk a lot about little things in life. The reason being those little things are what get me through the most difficult days.

I can be down and out and think about some small conversation I had with Dustin, or a joke he told me to make me laugh. And I begin to smile. I know he is still around helping me with these little things.

As I smile, it gives me hope, motivation and inspiration to keep going. Whatever I have to face that day is bearable. I just smile and say thank you Dustin. Even on the good days I feel his presence.

Sometimes we should express our gratitude for the small and simple things like the scent of the rain, the taste of your favorite food, or the sound of a loved one’s voice. ~ Joseph Wirthlin

  1. Lovely photo with drops. Seeing the pansy I can say I just planted a few into a planter with some dead plants, and when they blossom will look nice and bright.

  2. It’s always the small things that builds up …
You don’t need a lot to say thank you but it may means a lot to the receiver

Thank you, Carol for the beautiful flower 🙂

    • I’ve learned that fear limits you and your vision. It serves as blinders to what may be just a few steps down the road for you. The journey is valuable, but believing in your talents, your abilities, and your self-worth can empower you to walk down an even brighter path.

  4. Life is a journey that none of us have a map and can easily be lost if it does not know where it is going. The most important thing about this journey is not the things you take with you, but the moments you are experiencing. It is not difficult to enjoy every kilometer if you know the best thing is yet to come.

    • You are so right. The map was gone a long time ago. We have to find our own way, in our own time. We both know many others do not. I know you can relate Hope you are doing well.
