We all know that the best pictures of the sunset are those with beautifully colored clouds. But what can we do if the clouds are not in the sky and we want to photograph a sunset? As with other photos, I add a point of interest and one of the best ways is to incorporate some silhouettes into it. These can be represented by something that is part of the environment, trees, people, flowers ….
The great advantage of silhouettes is that they add a state and context to a picture that captures a sunset.

I have a bird pole in my backyard for the hummingbird feeder. It makes a great silhouette when there are no clouds.
