Wherever it grows, the sunflower seems to bring us the sun in the house or in the garden. Its face seems to smile and has the power to make us happy.You can definitely imagine how much happiness produces an entire sunflower field! On my way to my native village I met a huge sunflower field. We stopped for a few minutes to admire its beauty and of course to take some photos.

I love this picture – you have such a good eye. I also love large fields of sunflowers. I recalled the cinematography of the movie “Everything Is Illuminated” (2005) and the sunflower fields in Ukraine that stretch to the horizon. Since I have moved to a new place I won’t be seeing too many of these fields without traveling. Now the soundtrack comes to mind from the movie – also wonderful. You stirred my memory with this photo and sweetly so.

Yes, the flower is indeed very unique and special, although it is not a common flower to give to someone, especially a girlfriend.
We cultivate it for industrial purposes. By processing the seeds we obtain the oil used both for consumption or industrial use to obtain alkyd resins. I never thought of the sunflower as a flower that could be offered to a girlfriend!?
