Last night, the moon was very visible and I thought about taking some pictures. I wanted to see the craters on the surface of the moon!
If you look at the moon through a binocular or the telephoto lens, you will surely notice the craters on the moon’s surface. Lots of craters. In fact, it is difficult to find a place on the Moon without any crater. It is said that there are approximately 300 thousand craters larger than 1 km are estimated only on the visible part of the Moon seen from Earth.
I didn’t catch them all but some of them are easy to see in the pictures taken last night for the Sky Sunday Challenge!
The plane that passed while I took the picture made me think it would be nice to be able to fly to the moon! What about you?

Certainly the moon is one object that is the favorite of poets and songwriters.
Lovely photo, space travel is exciting…..Beautiful detailed photo
Did not know there were so many craters on the moon. There used to be a rabbit shaped crater.
I read that there is a crater, called the jade rabbit but I don’t know much about that.
I saw the moon as well but no photos. Yours are always stunning.
Thank you! I played a little with the camera! You also take beautiful photos.
Awesome that you caught the plane going by. Were you referencing this song? It’s kind of good – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEcqHA7dbwM Cheers!

No I wanted to stay on the blue
It’s a good decision!
