This is my picture for the sky Sunday Challenge. It is beautiful day and as I was up on the terrace pottering around in my garden I took some pictures of the sky. This is a regular scene in the sky every evening around 6 pm. the birds go back to their nesting place.
I didn’t have my camera with me, so I took pictures with my phone. I didn’t expect much from them , but I did like the end results and decided to share them with you.
The number of birds that fly in the sky has certainly increased. It is a lovely sight to watch them fly in formations, gliding overhead. I need to spin around fast to get them in my frame. It is a challenge but it is fun.

I sit in the evening sitting on the terrace watching the sky and the birds. Even in our country, the highest number of them is in the evening.
That is the most relaxing way to wind up at the end of the day. I find so much peace in doing so.
You are absolutely right. I spend many evenings on the patio.
Sipping something cool and refreshing with some soft music in the background.. do you do that ?
Exactly. How did you know? 😃
I have many birds this time of year in the yard and sky. Nice shot here.
Lucky you, you get the best view from your bird feeder. 😀
it is hard to miss the birds where we live. Ravens are very very loud!
yesterday it was Ravens and hawks in the sky!
I haven’t seen ravens in a while, true they can be loud and so are hawks.
they are very loud, and they don’t like people in their business!
That they don’t. Crows are okay with people but not ravens. Thanks to them the rodents are kept in check and our landfills not stink of dead creatures.
we have many more ravens than crows where I live – some of them are quite literary. and quote Poe to you as they fly around you!
Haha I can imagine that scene. Ravens have hard beaks, I was once pecked by a raven when I was small.
Yes, there are some birds always singing near home. The countryside very close. I like to see two towers with my dog that nearby in which storks live. They are always so beautiful looking from the heights.
Storks do look beautiful indeed. they seem so graceful in flight. These egrets belong to the stork family as well.
Yesterday I managed to take pictures of seagulls in the sky and the sea. I like the moment when the birds return to their nests.
Glad you are finally able to go out. Enjoy the freedom.
They fly together s flock and it is a great time to photograph.
