I was very happy to find this family of storks in their nest. Parents took care of their little ones. The father had arrived with food for the little one. He gave her to the mother and she started feeding him. Then he started to ask him. The pictures became silhouettes because I ran them early in the morning against the sun.
They were made on 14-06-2019 in the village of Yagodovo – Plovdiv – Bulgaria. With Nikon D3400 camera and lens 70-300mm.
I had to do a rework with Nik Collection – Color Efex Pro4 Tonal Contrast because the original is 11.1MB. And I can not publish it if it exceeds 8 MB.

I’m not sure but I think that decreasing the upload times is favorable economically for the platform as well. I resize to under 1 MB and the pictures look great. There is no need to greatly surpass the resolution of the screen used to view them.

It’s a wonderful shot. I also occasionally have a problem with the size of the images.
I always resize my pics but that is ok since once they are posted, they are not mine any more. Love this shot, wow. Such a cool view you had.

Ah, that is a lovely photo of the storks. I think it’s come out really well. Birds make such lovely and caring parents.
I have the same problem, it is frustrating at times but I understand why Virily has a limit (storage, of larger images, can raise their overall site cost radically).
