Senior Tree Memories

The weather has been gorgeous today. Went to visit the local state park earlier. I noticed all kinds of things. Lots of people and kids were out for one thing. But another was this huge tree. I only had my phone with me for photos. I had to take several photos to capture the beauty of this tree.

Not sure what type of tree this is, so I named it a senior. I know it has been growing for many years.

I love seeing old trees still growing like this one. Growing up we had them all around and had tire swings. What fun that was. A tree likes this was good for climbing. This tree brought back such good memories.

And I watched many people walk by, not even noticing the beauty in front of them. Nature has so much to offer all around us.

I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it. ~William Shakespeare

Enjoy nature photography. Amateur self-taught photographer and love every minute of the photos from my yard and Dustin's garden. Sunset views from my deck are very peaceful to watch, capture and share. I have two cats, Brendel and the Dude. I share both special and funny moments I capture of them with you.

Also enjoy seeing and reading your posts from all over the world.

  1. Unfortunately I was a klutz when I was a kid and climbing trees was not something I ever tried. I am still a klutz to this day but I have more guts now to try some extreme activities including climbing an elephant and nearly fell to the ground ??? thanks for dropping by over at FB Carol. If I am unable to check your posts, it is only that I do not have sufficient time but I am not forgetting ???
