Saw a local Cuisine at foreign country…

Saw a local cuisine, Malaysian Cuisine when travelling to oversea, New Zealand

I wondered what can we order here?  Curry Rice (Nasi Lemak)? Wonton Noodle? Chapatti?

I don’t know because I afraid eating local cuisine at foreign country is always expensive. What do you think?

  1. It certainly feels good when we see a local cuisine in another country. I am not sure if I will enter the restaurant. If I am only there for traveling, perhaps I won’t, as I think the food might be better in our own country and as you said, it’s more expensive in foreign country too. But if I am there for years, then perhaps I’ll miss the food from my own country and I might enter the restaurant. 🙂

  2. I love eating local cuisine in foreign countries because I would like to know if the authenticity the cuisine is preserved or if it has blended with the local cuisine of that country and was it successful.

  3. i loved traveling, but honestly, the American food restaurants (McDonalds and KFC) often made me sad. Not that they existed outside the US, but that people believe that represents what the US is.

  4. I have been on several foreign package tours and we are always taken to Indian restaurants. We do miss our food and therefore we welcome it.
