Saturday's Critters – monkey on the street

Some say we are similar to monkeys, we have the same features, others say a human is originated from a monkey.

This photo is of course, from my traveling as there, in Lithuania, you will not see monkeys on the streets. Money to us is an exotic animal.

This monkey sat at the door of one shop, I think the host attracted visitors with his monkey. But not us. When I saw this poor monkey tied by his neck, I did not visit this store and even asked my husband to stop shooting. Yes, this photo is made by my husband.

I hate when wild animals are closed to a zoo, circus, or as in this photo, for the entertainment of others.

  1. On the one hand, I understand you on the other not … if there were no zoos you would never have seen a monkey or a lion … and many animals would have died out if they were not propagated in zoos … on the other hand I agree that wildlife live in the wild and in freedom

  2. I do think wild animals should roam free but I have nothing against zoos where they are able to be in natural habitats and I can enjoy seeing them.
