It rained earlier that afternoon and the pavement is full of snails … This little one happens to be at the stair behind where I was sitting and enjoying my drink.
It is not alone, it has company which I didn’t snap … This gut seems to be thinking if he should dive into the grass or not … He has been there for quite a while. LOL

Thank you very much, tas 🙂
I always thought snails enjoyed the rain, but they’re actually afraid of drowning or losing their ‘stickiness’ so they escape from water. I used to have ‘pet snails’ and often used water to get them out of their shells. I remember I left one in its ‘cage’ on the bookshelf, but it escaped and ate some book covers. I always gave them grass or salad, but looks like paper is the snail’s favorite food.
Oh my! LOL!!
Learn something new, I didn’t know snails are so into knowledge the wish to contain them … haha
I have snails in my garden, especially after rain
They seems to come out after rain …
I rarely see snails. Cool shot of this one.
I’m surprised! Don’t they visit your garden?
I just found one eating my Delphiniums, may he rest in peace…. Great shots! 😉
Haha, will he get high before he dies or just …die?

I have a few snails in my Lilly pond after the rain. I usually try to get rid of them ASAP.
They can be quite a pest, I guess
That they are, they eat up all the flowers.
