The flies are not only annoying creatures but also dangerous because they are carriers of many infections. I do not like them at all, especially becauseit is a terrible terror to Maya. However, they are an interesting subject for my macro photos. This is a very small specimen, I think it is Drosophila Melanogaster but I’m not sure. In common language, drosophila is usually called Fruit fly. The most common species, Drosophila melanogaster, is 3 or 4 mm long.
