Ripe jackfruit

Whenever I would see a ripe jackfruit in the market I tend to buy. That is my favorite fruit when I was young. It’s not really that I am fond of it but for old time’s sake why not buy when I now can afford unlike before when what I could afford was to take a smell.

The jackfruit is a sweet fruit that is nice as a dessert. But sometimes it can also be eaten as a snack. Unfortunately the kids are now onto other food like smoothies and the junk food called chips. Gone are the days that we have the fruit for the snack.
