My Dad always called the Northern Cardinals.. Redbirds. We talked about them every day on the phone. He had many in his yard. I started seeing them in my yard after he passed. I always say he sent these beautiful birds to me after he passed. They are very special.
This photo was taken last year when we had snow. The birds do not mind the weather, he was on my deck feeder with a sunflower seed in his mouth.

The Redbird looks great on the snow.
Thanks, I have to agree with you.
The color red on a bird make it look bright as the sun.
Your dad must have loved you very much. It’s evident that your love for him is special, it’s all written in your expressions.
You have no idea how much your comment means Bradley. I was the baby. And he called me his baby girl. I took care of everything for him, finances, appointments, everything. And yes he loved me. I miss him so very much. Thank you for your special words. They mean more than you know.
